Kevin first began teaching at NWCS in 2007, after attending as a student for ten years. He worked with the principal to create the Elementary Advanced Program in order to meet the needs of NWCS students who were preparing to test into gifted programs across the Seattle area. Kevin has taught in the EAP program throughout his entire time with NWCS and now serves as program lead.



Kevin graduated from the University of Washington's Academy of Young Scholars Program in 2012 with degrees in biochemistry and music. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, cooking, and playing the piano. He speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.



For the 2012-2013 school year, Kevin will teach K1GP.

Kevin Ma

Aryn has taught at NWCS since 2010. This is her second year teaching for the Gifted Prep program at NWCS.She recently graduated from the University of Washington with bachelor's degrees in English and voice. 

​

Aryn previously served as a teaching assistant for the University of Washington's Academy of Young Scholars Bridge Program. She also has extensive tutoring experience, working with student athletes at the University of Washington through Student Athlete Academic Services.



For the 2012-2013 school year, Aryn will teach 2GE together with Camille.

Aryn O'Haleck

Camille Zhou

Camille started teaching at NWCS in 2010. A graduate of the University of Washington's Academy of Young Scholars program, she has a double degree in English and Public Health.

In addition, Camille has also taught at Best in Class Education Center, the America China Exchange Society, the Chinese Information and Service Center, and for the Robinson Center Summer Program. She has also served as a volunteer tutor for Seattle Public Schools, Refugee Women's Alliance, and Broadview Emergency Shelter.

​

Camille is currently pursuing a J.D. at the University of Washington School of Law. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.



For the 2012-2013 school year, Camille will teach 2GE together with Aryn.
